Wasabi comes as shredded as plant based protein. It's not an overpowering amount of wasabi flavor. It's more of a sweet wasabi. Soybean based Vegan Jerky with a savory, and slightly sweet and sour taste for everyone (even carnivores) to enjoy.
It's made out of soybean protein blended with a variety of authentic vegan Asian spices with a medium tender chew that feel like you are eating a bag of jerky.

Taste was excellent. Consistency was excellent. The sodium content was horrific. 4 whole pieces contained 1000mg. Not good for my or anyone's blood pressure.
I got this for my daughter who is dealing with dietary concerns and has temporarily gone vegan. She was excited to report that "It has no right tasting so good where there is no meat in it at all". She says, "It tastes a lot like how I remember beef jerky tasted. I killed the whole bag in less than 24 hours, it was that good!" She strongly recommends it. 110/10!
I have only tried the sweet wasabi bc that was the only favor available. The taste is good but too sweet for my plate. The downside to the vegan jerky is the amount of calories, 8400 per bag of 7 oz. It is absurd that it has more calories than a greasy cheese burger. If you can control your portions, it’s worth trying. The other downside is the customer service. I can’t seem to get any one to reply to my questions.
I'd been looking for a vegan jerky to replace the Beyond jerky that never seems to be in stock at my local grocery store anymore. I tried the Sweet Wasabi flavor and I was pleasantly surprised with how good this jerky is! the texture is very similar to what I want in a jerky and the flavor wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be. I'll definitely be buying more of this product when I run out.
Having been a lifelong vegetarian I can't compare it to meat jerky but I have tried most of the plant based jerkys out there. This one definitely rates towards the top as far as flavor so far I've only tried original it tastes great with just a nice hint of spice the only thing I can think of that might improve it is a little less toughness maybe that's what "real" jerky is supposed to be like but it's like eating delicious leather whatever I don't finish I'll save in case I ever need to patch my tire or roof with that said I'm sure I'll buy it again
