The intense heat - the most heat of all the Midwest flavors, uses ghost pepper and other extremely hot peppers that will water your mouth. It’s not overly hot where you can’t handle it, but it’s just the right amount of spice to send your taste buds on a journey.

Our delicious small and bite size Midwest cuts are bottom round, nitrate free and come from the back of the cow.

Beef round cut used. Ingredients: Beef, brown sugar, jerky seasoning, celery powder.
WHY WE MADE THIS
We have a wide spectrum of textures. We wanted to give you a line that lands between soft and rip n chew.

Our Midwest beef jerky is our smoky and savory style. This flavor gets its name from the four peppers: black pepper, red pepper, white pepper, and jalapeno pepper. This array of peppers makes this a bit less powerful than our Classic black pepper. It is very smooth, moist and easy to chew. It has a slight sweetness to it.

This isn’t as sweet as you think! This blend of sweetness and smokiness is the perfect balance. The honey Midwest is very light with mild or no spice - easy to chew and moist. Take a bite then close your eyes, let us know what it reminds you of.

Tennessee barbecue is the most robust flavor of all the Midwest jerky. It combines spices, sugars peppers, garlics, and barbecue sauces to give your mouth a flood of flavor. This is our smokiest style. It is close to a hickory style beef jerky. The Tennessee isn’t too sweet or too sour - it’s right in the middle.

Good amount of heat

I got the Intense Heat jerky because I like anything spicy. It tastes good noticeably spicy. It's not the hottest spice every but pretty good.

Midwest is not my preference, but..

I like the seasoning on the Midwest Jerky. However, I am not a big fan of tender jerky. The reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is supposed to be refrigerated after opening. A proper natural and properly cured jerky only gets better when left exposed to the air. That's how jerky was intended. The drier, the better for me.
